PERIPHERAL’s official description says players can play with friends in public or private rooms. That confirms a private group option in the intended experience. It does not, by itself, prove that the option is Roblox’s platform-level paid Private Server feature. In fact, the official Games API currently reports that VIP-server creation is not allowed for this universe, so look for a private-room flow inside the experience rather than assuming a purchase page exists.
Start from the correct experience
Open PERIPHERAL on Roblox, Place ID 120912658283903, by Cloversky Studios. Avoid similarly named experiences or generic private-server instructions. If the official page and live lobby disagree with an old guide, use the current first-party interface.
The experience is beta and may update frequently. Menu placement, room ownership, and invitations can change without preserving an old screenshot.
Look for an in-experience room flow
Read the current lobby or matchmaking controls for public and private choices. A genuine private-room flow should explain enough of the action to create, join, invite, or select a room. Follow the displayed steps and do not invent a button label or path that public documentation does not provide.
Check whether the room uses a host, code, friend invite, Roblox connection, or another mechanism. The official description confirms the option but not its implementation. Record only what the current screen shows.
If no private option appears, recheck that you joined the correct experience and current version. Do not buy access through an unrelated link or assume a generic Roblox VIP-server procedure applies.
Distinguish rooms from Roblox Private Servers
Roblox platform Private Servers normally appear in the Servers area when a creator enables them. PERIPHERAL’s Games API status on October 28, 2026 reports createVipServersAllowed: false. That supports a cautious interpretation: the developer’s “private rooms” may be an in-experience matchmaking feature rather than a purchasable platform server.
This can change, and the API field does not describe the game’s internal room system. Verify both surfaces before giving friends instructions. A future platform Private Server listing should be visible on the official experience page and follow Roblox’s own purchase or configuration UI.
Check privacy and invitations before starting
Who can join?
Read the current room's invite or access controls. Do not assume “private” means every uninvited player is blocked in every beta flow.
Who owns the room?
Identify the current host if the UI names one, especially before that player leaves or changes settings.
Is there a cost?
Trust only a price shown through the official Roblox or in-experience interface. No public first-party source checked here confirms a room fee.
How do friends join?
Use the current invite, code, or friend control. Never share a Roblox password, cookie, or account token.
Players under different account privacy settings may see different results. Roblox platform restrictions can affect invitations, while the game’s room layer can have its own rules.
Prepare a private group for the shift
A private room controls who is present; it does not remove the procedural facility, three generators, fuses, key, unsaved code, creature, flashlight battery, or hunt unless the current game explicitly says so. Agree on landmark names and roles before splitting.
Use a route caller, power lead, code backup, and scout as flexible tasks. Decide whether the goal is a normal escape, Nobody Left Behind, Not a Word, or practice for another badge. A controlled group is especially useful for repeating a route discipline without unknown players activating the final generator early.
Before the third generator, regroup around the same readiness check used in public play: stable power, key, preserved code, exit route, battery, and cover.
Troubleshoot joining problems safely
If a friend cannot enter, confirm the correct experience, room state, invitation, account privacy, and whether the host is still active. If Roblox shows a permission error, use Roblox’s official settings and support guidance rather than third-party executables or credential requests.
If the room unexpectedly fills or moves the group to another instance, record the current flow and retry through the official lobby. The beta implementation is not sufficiently documented to claim a universal fix.
Do not publish a temporary room or join code as a permanent server. Keep invitations within the intended group, and remove or rotate them if the current system supports that control.
What remains unverified
The menu path, room capacity, host powers, invite method, privacy enforcement, cost, persistence, cross-platform behavior, and relationship to Roblox Private Servers need current in-game confirmation. The safe conclusion is exact: private rooms are named by the developer, while platform VIP-server creation is currently reported as disabled. Use the live experience flow and official Roblox surfaces to bridge the gap.
